Laboratory testing is a fundamental step in cancer diagnoses, staging, and the development of individualized treatment options. In testing, what’s collected from a patient is ultimately information, and, when processed through a medical lab, that data may lead to discoveries that, in turn, could yield new diagnostics and treatments.

At Evergreen, our innovative laboratory staff works closely with our clinical research team to help diagnose difficult cases, more accurately predict outcomes, and choose appropriate treatments. Key to our approach is the ability to draw and identify unique molecular markers for disease, then get those samples in front of the chief reference labs around the country. It’s a process that requires more than just microscopes and centrifuges – it depends on the skill and knowledge of our trained staff as well.

Evergreen’s affiliations with Translational Genomics Research Institute, US Oncology, and the Pancreatic Cancer Research Team give us access not only to an ever-expanding information database, but also to the expertise of the world’s most cutting-edge research laboratories. And that means more comprehensive care for our patients.
